KTAR’s sixth annual Action for Autism benefiting SARRC — Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center — has started.

Established in 1997, (SARRC) mission is to advance research and provide a lifetime of support for individuals with autism and their families.
Here are a few fast facts about Autism.
• Autism affects 1 in 88 in the U.S. and 1 in 64 in Arizona.
• The disorder affects the ability to communicate and interact with other people.
• 80 percent of individuals with autism are under 22.
