What’s it like to go to China and sell Phoenix?

Are you a good sales person? Do you believe you could sell anything? It should be the easiest thing in the world to sell a product like Phoenix wouldn’t you think?
But what if you were Barry Broome, president and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) and your job was to sell all this beautiful weather, the architecture, the diversity and the golf courses to business executives and government officials in China? Then what? How do you convince leadership in a country of a billion-plus people that it’s in their best interests to do business with the cities that make up the Valley of the Sun?
