Florida bomb shelter hits market for $500K

Looking for a way to keep those pesky neighbors away?
How about a bomb shelter meant to withstand radioactive fallout?
According to NBC News, the shelter, built in 1967, hit the market this week for $499,500.
“It’s something out of an old Japanese gorilla movie,” said Hoyt C. Murphy Jr., the listing agent for the property. “It was built to withstand the big blast.”
The shelter comes complete with 17-foot ceilings, decontamination showers and spring-loaded toilets designed to lessen the impacts of a massive explosion.
Murphy said he believes there is a 50-50 chance the buyer makes the home into a private residence.
