Police searching for trio who stole from woman in Peoria restaurant

PHOENIX — Valley police departments continue to look for a three people who are suspected of stealing a woman’s wallet in Peoria and ringing up purchases with her credit cards last month.

Silent Witness said that a man and a woman entered a P.F. Chang’s restaurant at 16170 N. 83rd Ave. on Friday, Aug. 8, around 8:30 p.m. and stole a woman’s wallet out of her purse.

It was not reported if the victim was aware at the time that her wallet had been taken.

The two thieves and another woman used the stolen credit cards at a nearby Target store less than an hour later. All three suspects purchased gift cards at Target.

The male suspect is in his mid-20s and has dark hair. He was wearing a gray button-up sweater with black stripes around both sleeves at the time, and he had on dark pants and a white undershirt.

The first female suspect is also in her mid-20s. She was wearing a gray hat, dark pants and a white collared polo shirt over a long-sleeve black undershirt at the time.

The third suspect is also presumed to be in her mid-20s and has dirty blonde hair. She was wearing a white long-sleeve shirt with blue jeans on the night of the theft.
