International Space Station pays tribute to Boston following explosions

In the wake of the tragic events that claimed three lives and injured more than 170 people near the finish line of Monday’s Boston Marathon, a member from NASA’s International Space Station took a moment to pay tribute to the city.

Chris Hadfield, a Canadian astronaut living aboard the ISS, tweeted this breathtaking picture of Boston from space.
