Power knocked out to three Maricopa County Courthouse buildings

PHOENIX — Power was knocked out to three Maricopa County Courthouse buildings on Friday, an official said.
Vincent Funari with the court said power was lost in the Central, East and West court buildings. The South Court Tower remained open.
The buildings were closed for the remainder of the day.
All court morning calendars in East and Central Court buildings have been cancelled. South Court Tower is open and operational.

Arizona Public Service was working to flip the lights back on.
A case involving Superintendent of Public Instruction and the Arizona Board of Education was moved to a different courtroom because of the outage.
The cause of the outage is unknown.
