Thrill-seekers looking for relief from the weekend heat can now kill two birds with one stone, as “Dropkick” — the world’s tallest inflatable slide — will be on display at Taylor Morrison’s Slide Into Summer Grand Opening Celebration this Saturday.

The celebration is taking place at two East Valley locations: Elliot Groves at 4277 E. Weather Vane Road, in Gilbert and Eastmark at 4758 South Centric Way, in Mesa.

In Gilbert, patrons will not only be able to take a ride on the four-story-tall slide, but kids and adults are invited to enjoy the free carnival featuring music from a live DJ, free family photos at a green screen photo booth, two tours of Taylor Morrison’s home collections and hot dogs and shaved ice from Chilly Chicks Shaved Ice Truck. Attendees can also enter to win a $500 gift card to San Tan Village.

Meanwhile in Mesa, grand opening celebrations continue with wine and beer tastings, live acoustic music, tours of Taylor Morrison’s new Summit Collection and appetizers courtesy of celebrity chef Eddie Mattney.

For more information on the event, call (480) 734-2628 or visit the Taylor Morrison website.

We want to hear from you.
