The original Pita Jungle site in Tempe is closing its doors after 20 years.
But don’t panic — the Mediterranean healthy food wonder is only moving from Apache Boulevard to a bigger spot on Mill Avenue.
Phoenix Business Journal reports the company is renovating a spot on the northeast corner of Mill and University Avenues.
Pita Jungle’s co-founder and owner Nelly Kohsok said it has always been a dream to have a restaurant on Mill, but never thought it would happen.
Kohsok also shared the new site will have a patio, something the Apache location lacked. In fact, the Mill Avenue locale will have two patios.
It’s set to open sometime this summer.
Pita Jungle has 17 locations around the state and two in California.
