March was good to those in the Scottsdale hotel business, as the market reported a 90.4 percent occupancy rate last month.
According to a Phoenix Business Journal report citing Smith Travel Research, March’s figure represents a 2.9 percent increase from March 2014, with average daily rates also increasing nine percent from a year ago.
With numbers up across the board, Scottsdale hotels of course saw their profit margins receive a satisfying uptick, as revenue per available room saw a 12.2 percent increase in the last 12 months.
