Phoenix ranked one of America’s most thankful cities

One company thinks it’s easy to measure which U.S. cities are the most thankful, in 140 characters or less, with Phoenix making the cut.

Treat by Shutterfly, ranked the 10 most thankful cities, The Huffington Post reports.

But just how did they do this? Treat staff found out how many active Twitter users were in the 50 most populous cities in the U.S. Then, four times a day they measured the amount of times Twitter users tweeted “Thank you” per hour in each of these cities. They then calculated the percentage and then averaged the four percentages to get their final ratio.

Oakland topped the list with one out of 77 people tweeting the sentiment per hour, and Phoenix landed at number four with one in 320 people.

We want to hear from you.
