PHOENIX — Get ready to say goodbye to the 80-degree temperatures, at least for a few days.
Temperatures will be dropping over the next several days, said Marvin Percha with the National Weather Service. the cold front that put much of the nation in the deep freeze this week will finally graze Arizona.
Highs Sunday and Monday were expected to reach the low 70s. Night lows will dip into the 40s.
As the cold front moves in Sunday, it will be windy. Gusts will be around 25 mph in the Valley and there was a slight chance of rain showers.
“The cold air that has been affecting the central and eastern parts of the country is going to push west into our region,” Percha said.
