Tempe police arrest assault suspect

PHOENIX — A man suspected of sexually assaulting an elderly woman in Tempe has been arrested, police said.

Ekwunze Job Owen Jr., 24, was also suspected of committing at least three indecent exposure incidents in Mesa.

Police suspect him of assaulting a 91-year-old on Oct. 18.

Tempe police Lt. Michael Pooley said a woman identified Owen as the man who entered her home Nov. 8 but fled when she starting screaming for help.
