3 Arizona businesses land on Forbes’ list of best small companies

PHOENIX — Three Phoenix companies have made big news, cracking Forbes’ list of best small companies.
Grand Canyon Education Inc., home manufacturer Cavco Industries and Inventure Foods made the list for 2014.
Grand Canyon Education, parent-company of Grand Canyon University, finished seventh with $641 million in sales.
Cavco Industries, a Phoenix-based mobile-home manufacturer, was 13th. The company also designs vacation cabins.
Inventure Foods, formerly snack chip company Poore Brothers, was No. 33.
The rankings were based on small companies publicly traded for at least a year that generated between $5 million and $1 billion.
