Scottsdale Fanfest to be part of city’s ‘super season’

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — With all kinds of big time events coming up, the Valley is going to be the place to be in early 2015.

Because of that, the city of Scottsdale is getting ready for what it calls a “super season.”

It involves all of the Super Bowl-related events, the Waste Management Open Golf Tournament and the Barrett Jackson Auto Auction that are going on in Scottsdale.

ESPN will set up shop in Scottsdale for a week of broadcasting during the week leading up to the Super Bowl, which will be played in Glendale. The broadcasts will come from Scottsdale Fashion Square, and will be surrounded by Fan Fest, which has a little something for everyone.

“Culinary experiences, chef demos, mixologists, entertainment, and fashion shows,” said Emily Ginzl of Scottsdale Fashion Square.

“We’re also really excited to welcome back the NFL Player’s Wives Association and their fashion show, where the NFL wives will actually walk the runway with their NFL husbands,” Ginzl said.

You can check out the list of Fanfest events here.

We want to hear from you.
