Chandler, Gilbert rank high on best Halloween cities list

PHOENIX — A new survey said some of the best Halloween cities are right here in the Valley.

Wallethub.com ranked Chandler seventh and Gilbert 14th on its list of best and worst cities for Halloween.

The cities are tied for sixth when it comes to best Halloween weather.

Gilbert is actually ranked better than Chandler is a couple of categories. It ranked second in both crime rate and the percentage of population that is aged 14 and younger. Chandler ranked 10th for crime and 14th for the number of kids under 14.

Other Arizona cities are also ranked in the survey. Phoenix was 31st on the list, while Mesa was 38th and Scottsdale was 44th. Tucson finished in 83rd place.

The survey ranks St. Paul, Minnesota as the best city for Halloween.
