PHOENIX — Are you looking to buy a new jersey after the great start to the Arizona Cardinals season?

Chances are sports stores near you are running low because sales are booming.

“In October, we’ll end up about 10 percent and that will increase as we go into November, undoubtedly,” said Kelly Roberts with Just Sports.

Roberts said the big jersey jump for the Cardinals happened in September, when the team beat a big rival.

“[We’re seeing] increases every single week,” he said. “The big jump happened when the Cardinals beat the (San Francisco) 49ers back in September and that elevated it to a new level. Now, we’re seeing it again in October with these big wins the last few weeks.”

And it’s not just the Cardinals. Both the Arizona State Sun Devils and Arizona Wildcats are 6-1, leading to a spike in sales.

Non-Arizona teams are also selling well. Robert said the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys are selling big.
