You Said: Torrential rain is not a deterrent

Taking the unofficial postal carrier’s creed to heart, Arizonans will make their way to work even in the driving rain.
That’s what half the respondents did, according to the results of Monday’s Sanderson Ford poll question on KTAR.com.
We asked if you made it to work despite the epic rainstorm. Yes, 56 percent said they went to work. Nearly 500 people said they fought dragons and swam through shark-infested waters to reach their place of business and put in an honest day’s work. (All right, no one said this specifically, but they deserve some praise after hearing, “What??” “You drove in that?” and “Are you insane?!” when they told friends.)
Those who stayed at home made up 35 percent of the voters. Maybe some of them work from home, in which case it was a trick question to them.
A small number (9 percent) opted for the fun, unlikely “I took the jet ski.”
