PHOENIX — Three people were seriously injured in a two-car accident Wednesday morning near downtown.
The cars collided at Seventh Avenue and Thomas Road shortly before 6 a.m. A witnesses who reported the accident told an emergency dispatcher that one of the cars was burning, but there was no fire by the time Phoenix Fire reached the area.
Two women, 46 and 41, and a man, 31, were taken to the hospital.
Taco Chelo, an established taquería in downtown Phoenix, plans to open a second location in Tempe next week.
