Glendale ambulance crashes, injures 7

PHOENIX — A head-on collision between two vehicles in the city of Glendale left seven people injured Thursday morning.

The accident, located at 65th and Peoria avenues, involved a Glendale ambulance, which was responding to a call with lights and sirens when the accident occurred, the Glendale Fire Department wrote on their Facebook page.

The second vehicle was headed in the opposite direction and veered into the emergency response vehicle, hitting them.

Four vehicles were involved, leaving seven injured including four children and two Glendale firefighters.

Everyone involved was transported to the nearest hospital for further evaluation.

All passengers were wearing seat belts and child safety seats. No one faced life-threatening injuries.
