Local Motors Rally Fighter featured in newest ‘Transformers’ movie

The latest Transformers installment by director Michael Bay features a little bit of a local flavor.

During one of the film’s pivotal scenes, which premieres this week, audiences get treated to a exhilarating chase through a corn field.

And the main car used in that chase is none other than the Local Motors Rally Fighter — currently on the market for $99,000.

“Be sure to go see the movie and see the coolest corn field chase you have ever seen,” Buddy Crisp, Rally Fighter driver, said. “The realistic looking crash at the end looked realistic for a good reason.”
