Phoenix pizza chain heats up competition with expansion plans

Jun 26, 2014, 5:00 AM | Updated: 5:00 am

PHOENIX — A Phoenix fast-pizza chain is heating up the competition with plans to expand locations.

According to the Phoenix Business Journal, Fired Pie offers customizable 11-inch pizzas in an assembly-line style.

By this fall, they hope to double their locations.

This week, Fired Pie opened a second Scottsdale location at 15425 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite 100. Later in the year, they are aiming for downtown Phoenix at the Collier Center, Awhatukee and Tucson, Ariz.

These will be in addition to Fired Pie’s already four existing restaurants: two in Phoenix, one in Scottsdale and one in Chandler.

Next year, they hope to follow up with six more new locations.

We want to hear from you.
