PHOENIX — A Phoenix man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of stealing three assault rifles from a closed Walmart, police said.

Daniel Justin Miranda, 46, was arrested one day after police released his photo to the media.

In addition to numerous tips naming Miranda as the suspect, neighborhood enforcement officers saw Miranda allegedly sell one of the stolen rifles to two unidentified men for $200.

Miranda, a transient, was arrested and charged with both the Walmart robbery and an additional robbery of a Sprouts store. His charges include burglary, trafficking in stolen property and three counts of misconduct involving weapons.
