LAS VEGAS — The National Association of Broadcasters’ awards were presented on Tuesday and KTAR-FM won a Crystal Radio Award for commitment to community service throughout the year.

“Our mission is to serve our community and make a positive difference in the lives of Valley residents,” Scott Sutherland, Vice President and Market Manager of Bonneville Phoenix. “I couldn’t be more proud for our tremendous employees to be recognized for their many acts of service.”

KTAR-FM was one of 10 winners chosen among the 50 finalists.

The finalists were chosen by a panel of judges representing broadcasting, community service organizations and public relations firms.

This is KTAR’s second Crystal award. KTAR-AM won one in 2007.
