Dog thrown from car gets put down

PHOENIX — A sad end to the story of one dog that was reportedly thrown from a vehicle Tuesday morning.

According to abc15.com, Phoenix Police received a call from someone who witnessed the chihuahua being thrown from a moving vehicle near 61st Avenue and Indian School Road.

The witness said “the dog got caught in a rope collar and was pinned between a wall and a palm tree.”

The dog suffered numerous pelvic fractures and enough damage to his legs to render them unusable. The dog was put down Tuesday afternoon.
