Phoenix restaurant ‘worth traveling for,’ according to list

PHOENIX — A Phoenix restaurant has made the list of “Top Restaurants Worth Traveling For,” and no, it’s not Pizzeria Bianco.

Flipkey traveled to all 50 states to find the singular restaurant in each one that everyone should visit.

Located on N. 5th Avenue, Cibo Urban Pizzeria Cafe was the winner for Arizona. Cibo set up shop in a restored 1913 bungalow and specializes in artisanal pizzas and housemade pastas.

Not every restaurant on the list flaunted an expensive price tag or even a mid-range one but was instead selected based on “that perfect balance of cuisine, atmosphere, and service that makes them stand out among the rest.”
