Driver extricated from collision at Peoria intersection

PHOENIX — A two-car collision in Peoria resulted in one of the drivers being extricated from a vehicle.

At approximately 8:50 p.m. Tuesday, Peoria Fire Department was called to the scene of a two-car collision at 75th Avenue and Cactus Road. Three people were involved in the collision, including a 29-year-old female and an 18-year-old female, according to Peoria Safety Information Officer Amanda Jacinto.

More information is being gathered, but one of the drivers had to be extricated from a vehicle.

“All three of them were taken to a nearby hospital with minor to serious injuries,” Jacinto said.
