PHOENIX — At just 3 years old, Alexis Martin, of Queen Creek, Ariz., is the youngest member of Mensa’s Arizona chapter.

Mensa is an international society whose members have an IQ ranked in the top two percent of the world. The average person’s IQ is around 100. Martin’s checks in at over 160.

According to abc15.com, Martin has been reading since the age of 2 and and “the doctors who tested [her] said she tested so high, they couldn’t even calculate her IQ score.”

From 12 to 18 months, Martin was reciting word for word her bedtime story from each night. She also reads at a fifth-grade level and taught herself Spanish using her parents’ iPad.

Doctors said she “will never be able to go to a normal school,” and her parents also worry about sending her to kindergarten too early.

We want to hear from you.
