Scottsdale SWAT team swarms Phoenix home

PHOENIX — A Scottsdale SWAT team has responded to a home near 39th Avenue and Deer Valley Road early Wednesday morning.
A spokesman said officers were serving a search warrant in conjunction with a drug investigation. There were at least eight people in the house, but it is not known how many, if any, were arrested.
“A lot of boom, boom, boom. … Police everywhere,” said next-door-neighbor Carol Fairbanks of the flash grenades that were thrown into the house.
No other details were immediately available.
