PHOENIX — We all know Tuesday was unseasonably warm, but the National Weather Service said it was record-breaking.
In a tweet, the NWS said Phoenix Sky Harbor recorded a high of 82 degrees, beating the record of 81 degrees set in 1980.
Temperatures in the Valley are expected to stay warm. Wednesday’s high is 76 and Thursday’s is 74. A storm system is expected to arrive in the Valley on Friday, sending highs into the low 60s.
The wet weather won’t hang around though and temperatures are expected to be in the high 60s or low 70s for the week of Christmas.
