PHOENIX — Wells Fargo announced Wednesday it will invest about $125 million to expand its Chandler, Ariz. campus by 410,000 square feet.

The new expansion at 2600 S. Price Road will add two new four-story buildings that will have office space, an event center and cafe. A 2,100-spot parking garage will also be built. After the expansion is completed, Wells Fargo’s campus will total about 810,000 square feet.

“This expansion represents our continued commitment to the East Valley area and to the state of Arizona,” said Gerrit van Huisstede, Regional Banking Executive for Wells Fargo, in a press release. “We look forward to having this additional space to better accommodate our team members and better serve our customers located throughout the country.”

The new buildings will have room for about 2,500 additional employees, bringing the total to about 5,000 employees at the complex.

Construction is expected to begin in 2014 with completion coming in spring 2015.
