Sky Harbor kicking tires on possible parking changes

Dec 2, 2013, 2:14 PM | Updated: 2:14 pm

PHOENIX — The Aviation Department is looking at potential changes to its parking system.

According to a city council report, Sky Harbor Airport wants to offer new parking services to attract and retain business and leisure travelers while increasing parking revenues.

Offering discounts and coupons, online prepaid reservations and a frequent parker program are among the ideas being tossed around. The airport is also considering a corporate reservation policy for companies with 10 or more employees who travel a total of at least seven flights per month.

The Downtown, Aviation and Redevelopment Subcommittee is scheduled to discuss the issue during its meeting on Wednesday.

We want to hear from you.
