Glendale police searching for missing man

GLENDALE, Ariz. — Glendale police are searching for a 68-year-old man who has been diagnosed with dementia.

Wilfrido Moncayo-Cisneros was last seen on Jan. 23 at the Walmart at 95th Ave. and Camelback. His routine is to hang around Walmart and then walk home on foot before dinner.

Moncayo-Cisneros is on medication for his dementia and has wondered off several times before. He is not afraid of crowded areas, but only speaks Spanish.

Moncayo-Cisneros is described as being a Hispanic male standing 5-foot-1 and weighing 135 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He has a full beard. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black jacket, a red or black cap and black shoes. He has a limp.

Anyone with information on Moncayo-Cisneros’ whereabouts is asked to call the Glendale Police Department at (623) 930-3000.
