Interstate 17 reopened at New River after crash

PHOENIX — A crash closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 17 near New River on Wednesday afternoon.

Traffic was taken off at the New River exit, milepost 232, and re-entered the highway at the on-ramp.

The freeway reopened about 4:30 p.m.

Southbound lanes were unaffected by the crash.
