Gilbert PD investigating apartment shooting

GILBERT, Ariz. — Police are searching for two men after a shooting at a Gilbert apartment complex.
The incident happened Friday night near Pecos and Recker Roads.
Officers responded to multiple calls of shots being fired. Upon arrival, officers found a 19-year-old man bleeding from a gunshot wound to his chest, along with an injury to his head. He was taken to Scottsdale Osborne Hospital and later released with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to Gilbert police, the two suspects knew the victim. They said an altercation began inside the apartment, and ended with the victim being shot by one of the suspects.
Both suspects are still on the loose.
