PHOENIX — A north Phoenix T-shirt maker presented a $100,000 check to the 100 Club of Arizona on Monday to help the families of 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots who died in June.

Since the tragedy, X-treme Apparel has pumped out 15,000 shirts that honor the hotshots who died in the Yarnell Hill Fire.

Mark Daus with the shop handed over a check to the Phoenix-based charitable organization.

“We call this Team Arizona because everybody has gone into the communities, whether it’s VFW, events at Twin Peaks, car washes, sitting out front of Safeway, they’ve taken these shirts out for public display.”

The 100 Club of Arizona has received $3 million in donations to help the families of fallen firefighters.
