Motorcyclist dies in collision with SUV on US 60 at Loop 101

PHOENIX — A motorcyle rider has died Monday in a collision with an SUV on westbound U.S. 60 at Loop 101.
The accident closed that stretch of the East Valley roadway for over two hours, starting at 9:30 a.m.
Earlier in the morning, at the other end of the Valley, an accident on I-10 east at 27th Avenue backed up traffic for three miles.
