PHOENIX – The US Airways building has been sold.

According to Philly.com, REIT, a Florida-based real estate investment trust bought the property for $41.8 million.
While US Airways still has control over 25 percent of the property, they have the option to opt out of the lease by the end of 2016.

“”The terms of our lease remain unchanged and we’ve said previously that we will continue to maintain a significant corporate and operational presence in Phoenix after the merger closes even though the new American will be headquartered in Dallas-Fort Worth,” US Airways spokesman Todd Lehmacher said.”
