Humane Society offering reduced adoption rates

PHOENIX — Looking to add a furry friend to your family?

The Arizona Humane Society said Friday it was offering discounted adoption rates this weekend because its shelters are full.

Between June 7 and June 9, adoption fees for dogs are $35 and $20 for cats. All adoptions include a spay or neuter, vaccinations, an exam, a collar and an identification dog.

AHS normally charges between $110 and $160 to adopt a dog and between $50 and $75 to adopt a cat.

The discounted rate is available at the following AHS locations:

• Sunnyslope, 9226 N. 13th Ave., Phoenix
Hours: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

• Campus for Compassion, 1521 W. Dobbins Rd., Phoenix
Hours: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

• Petique, Biltmore Fashion Park, 2502 E. Camelback Rd., Phoenix
Hours: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday)
