Alaska Airlines to offer flights between Anchorage, Phoenix

Looking to see some real snow this winter?

Alaska Airlines will begin flying nonstop between Anchorage and Phoenix starting Dec. 18, according to a Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce blog.

Tickets are already being offered on AlaskaAir.com at an introductory rate of $189.

The company will offer the Anchorage-Phoenix flight three times a week this winter. However, the flight will only be available seasonally (until April 21, 2014 for this winter season).

Alaska Airlines also announced it will offer Anchorage-Las Vegas nonstop flights starting Dec. 19.
