Rally held to show support for McCain, Gang of Eight

PHOENIX — A rally was held Thursday outside Sen. John McCain’s Phoenix office to show support for an immigration bill put forward by McCain and seven other senators.
“This is a tough but fair proposal,” said Arizona Rep. Martin Quezada, who was in attendance. “The voices of the community have been heard and we are grateful.”
The event was hosted by Organizing for Action AZ volunteers and community leaders
Organizers said the “fair, common-sense, bi-partisan legislation is a victory for those who have fought to fix the broken immigration system of the past.
