Baja Fresh closing all Valley locations

Mexican food lovers, brace yourselves: Baja Fresh is no more in the Valley of the Sun.
All five Baja Fresh locations in the Phoenix area will close for good on Friday.
Baja Fresh has locations in downtown Phoenix, north Phoenix, Tempe, Chandler and at Arizona State University.
An unidentified person who answer the phone at Baja Fresh’s Camelback location said employees were informed Friday that they would be closing and that the location would be taken over by America’s Taco Shop.
Baja Fresh has not returned requests for comments.
The Phoenix New Times reported that some Baja Fresh locations were being replaced by America’s Taco Shop.
All Baja Fresh locations outside of Phoenix will remain open.
