March was not a good month for Americans, as far as the job market was concerned.
Pheonix Business Journal reported as of March, about 90 million Americans were either out of work or not actively looking for a job — which set a new record-high.
In February, the number of people without jobs or who weren’t looking went up by 663,000 from the previous month.
March’s increase pushes the total number of people not attached to the workforce to 89.97 million in March.
Since Obama took office in 2009, that statistic has grown by 9.5 million people.
