Struggling homeowners aren’t making headlines as much, but that doesn’t mean thousands of people right here in the Valley aren’t struggling to keep their homes.
“The problem is still very bad,” said Sylvia Waynick with the Arizona Foreclosure Prevention Task Force. “Families are still coming to us because they are struggling to make their payments for various reasons.”
The City of Phoenix partnered with the task force Wednesday to hold a free workshop to help homeowners who are in trouble. The free event taking place at the South Mountain Community Center located at 212 E. Alta Vista in Phoenix. The event will close at 7 p.m.
