Site offers fake girlfriend services

With the unprecedented story involving Manti Te’o’s nonexistent girlfriend, it might be prudent to mention that anyone can create a fake Facebook girlfriend for $39.99.
According to Mashable.com, NamoroFake.com provides its subscribers with an elaborately detailed Facebook profile that includes comments and relationship statuses for the past 30 days. Although this Brazil-based site currently does not offer phony boyfriend profiles, it has promised to do so eventually.
The bogus girlfriend is yet another indication that almost anything can be found in this continuously rising world of social media.
