If you decide to stop at “I Love Drilling Juice & Smoothie Bar” be mindful of your political affiliation, or you could find yourself paying more than your fellow consumers.

According to KSL.com, owner George Burnett has elected to charge any liberal customers in Vernal, Utah, an additional dollar to their orders.

“We have a fiscal problem in this country. We’ve got to deal with it or we don’t have a country, so to kind of help make that point, just a little bit, I charge (liberals) just a little bit more.”

Burnett added that even though he is “very open” and “very public” about his pricing arrangement, his overall objective is not to insult anyone. Rather, Burnett said his focus is to provide a healthy product while addressing the fiscal issues facing the U.S.

“Really what I’m focused on is the fiscal differences between big government/small government and liberal ways, as far as entitlements and spending,” he said. “We have a fiscal problem in this country. We’ve got to deal with it or we don’t have a country, so to kind of help make that point, just a little bit, I charge (liberals) just a little bit more.”
