Brewer declares state of emergency over propane shortage

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer declared a state of emergency on Friday due to a propane shortage in the state.
The declaration effectively ended certain restrictions on propane delivery drivers for the next 15 days so the gas — often used as a source of heat for cooking — can be delivered to chilled communities.
The declaration cites several issues, including freezing temperatures, a spike in demand and different regulations that affect deliveries for its issuance.
