A Tempe bar where an Arizona State University student was last seen has released a statement that said it is fully cooperating with police in the investigation.

Cadillac Ranch, located in Tempe Marketplace, released the following statement on Wednesday:

“We are fully and promptly complying with all investigation requests from Tempe PD and have been since day one. Our business has been open in Tempe for 5 years, it employs 65 good people, and has never had an incident like this. We are members of the Tempe and ASU community, and we are deeply sympathetic to Jack’s family and friends. We hope that they find Jack safe and sound. Finding Jack is what is most important right now.”

According to police, Arizona State University student Jack Culolias was last seen at Cadillac Ranch Restaurant and Bar on Friday night, where he was attending a fraternity function.

His mother, Grace Culolias, said her 19-year-old son had been drinking prior to arriving at the bar, but there is evidence he may have been served alcohol there as well.

“He had his credit card there and it had and $8 tab on it,” she said. “I’m sure it was for only one cocktail.”

Cadillac Ranch refused to comment on the allegation that Culolias was served.

Information released by police suggests the student was intoxicated and was kicked out of the establishment. From that point, no one has seen or heard from him.

“There’s no evidence of foul play, he’s just gone,” said Grace Culolias. “I really, really don’t know. It’s so hard.”

Grace Culolias said she arrived in the Valley on Sunday, filed a police report and started to search on her own. She reported to police that she discovered a red Vans shoe near the water east of Tempe Marketplace. That’s when a multi-agency search, a sore point for Culolias, started.

“Too much time had gone by,” she said. “There was a lack of support of real people out searching for him. The shoe could have been found as early as Saturday.”

In the meantime, Jack’s family is holding on to hope that he will be found.

“That Jack is alive and is safe and that he’s gonna stroll in and say ‘Hey everybody. Here I am,'” Culolias said.

We want to hear from you.
