Guitar legend Clapton to open tour in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Rock guitar legend Eric Clapton is scheduled to kick off his 2013 U.S. tour at US Airways Center March 14.
The Wallflowers will open the show.
General public tickets, priced from $49 to $89, go on sale Nov. 30 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
The tour will hit 13 other cities across the country before finishing up in New York with the two-night Crossroads Guitar Festival.
The festival will feature 30 all-star guitarists performing together, including B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Booker T, Gary Clark Jr., Jonny Lang, Robbie Robertson, Robert Cray and Jeff Beck among others.
