    AZ has done everything else back azzward why not this too. I can't wait to see people run in here to defend those poor 3rd party debt collectors.

    I have been receiving multiple calls, for months , just because someone else in Phoenix has the same name as I and when I switched phone companies, I forgot to tell them that the number is unlisted. Now, I am getting tons of calls and have even received a call at my place of employment. So, there is some sort of process out there that tries to connect information based upon NAME only. Now I am linked to some other tool who shares the name, but not the responsibility.

    the Bill and concur that this is one badly written piece of legislation. Too small of a burden of proof on the part of the Issuing Party. Especially considering AZ is, if not right next door to, the "ID Theft" capital of the world. I do detest Deadbeats who don't pay their bills and hoist their economic irresponsibility upon everyone else; but this Bill is a pandering P0C.
