D-backs decline arbitration to trio of players

PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks have declined to offer arbitration to three players, left-handed pitchers Doug Davis and Scott Schoeneweis and infielder Chad Tracy, the team announced Tuesday.
Davis went 9-14 with a 4.12 ERA in 34 starts last season. He limited the opposition to a .267 batting average with 103 walks and 146 strikeouts. Davis was a consistent starter for the Diamondbacks throughout the season.
Schoeneweis, a short relief pitcher with the Diamondbacks, went 1-2 with a 7.13 ERA in 45 relief appearances last season. He held opponents to a .287 batting average with 13 walks and 14 strikeouts.
Tracy hit .237 (61-for-257) with 15 doubles, eight home runs and 39 RBI in 98 games last season. He saw action in a combined 71 games in the field at first base and third base.
