PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks have declined to offer arbitration to three players, left-handed pitchers Doug Davis and Scott Schoeneweis and infielder Chad Tracy, the team announced Tuesday.

Davis went 9-14 with a 4.12 ERA in 34 starts last season. He limited the opposition to a .267 batting average with 103 walks and 146 strikeouts. Davis was a consistent starter for the Diamondbacks throughout the season.

Schoeneweis, a short relief pitcher with the Diamondbacks, went 1-2 with a 7.13 ERA in 45 relief appearances last season. He held opponents to a .287 batting average with 13 walks and 14 strikeouts.

Tracy hit .237 (61-for-257) with 15 doubles, eight home runs and 39 RBI in 98 games last season. He saw action in a combined 71 games in the field at first base and third base.

No issues with all 3 but could possibly get them back for a lot less money if nothing else pans out; Davis gives you innings but can not expect more than a .500 pitcher at best; I really think if Tracy gets back to being an " all fields " hitter rather than a power hitter which he is not, his career will extend nicely
